DocuMochi takes a minimal approach to cookies and browser storage. We believe in respecting your privacy and only storing what is absolutely necessary for the Service to function.

What We Store

Theme Preference

We save your light/dark mode preference in local storage so it persists between visits.

Invoice Data

Your invoice form data is saved in local storage so you can resume editing between sessions. Logo images are not stored.

What We Do Not Use

  • Advertising or tracking cookies
  • Third-party cookies
  • Cross-site tracking
  • Fingerprinting or device identification
  • Session cookies

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track personal data, and is fully GDPR compliant. Umami collects anonymous page view data only.

How to Clear Stored Data

You can clear all DocuMochi data from your browser at any time:

  1. Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12 or Cmd+Option+I)
  2. Go to the Application or Storage tab
  3. Find Local Storage and select documochi.com
  4. Delete the stored entries

Alternatively, clicking "New invoice" in the builder will reset your saved invoice data.
